The gospel is simply the good news that Jesus has paid the price not just for my sins but for all mankind. He came to restore man’s broken fellowship with God and to save us from the eternal damnation that is the consequence of sin. By believing in His work on the cross, my faith positions me to enjoy the benefits of His redemptive work and my salvation is secure. He goes further to take residence in my spirit, guiding and leading me aright in the path of sanctification by His Spirit. The Christian life is not trouble-free but He will never leave you nor forsake you. If you haven’t yet accepted Jesus into your heart, then I would urge you to do so and prepare to embark on life’s most exciting adventure. All this culminates in your glorification, when you finally get to go home to His loving embrace. He is waiting at the door knocking. Open up the door of your heart and let Jesus come in and fellowship with you. Watch Mark Driscoll shed some light on what the gospel is all about.

Nothing can separate you from God’s love anymore because Jesus has bridged the gap that sin created. He is waiting to welcome you home.
If God can save me then He can save you too. For those who think they have gone too far or have sinned so badly that God would never want them back, I want you to know that you are mistaken. Regardless of where you find yourself, God is waiting to stoop low and pick you up. Watch and be encouraged by the testimonies in this short video clip. Remember He is no respecter of persons. If He can do it for one, He can do it for all.
Please don’t put off this decision for another minute. The time to be saved is now for our time in this life is unpredictable. Don’t presume you will leave it till you’re much older. Your heart may be too cold and callous to receive Him by then. Some may not even reach a ripe old age so please give your life today and God will write your name in the Book of Life.

Hi Watchman I know your real name now but I like Watchman too, it is a strong name and it seems to say to me, I care I’m interested in you as a person of worth.
I agree, God knows before we are even conceived that we will come to heart repentance and so accept the free gift of Salvation turning from evil and doing good by His empowering, cannot loose this if we have been Born again and our lives will show if we are and if we are perfected in Love.
1 John 3: 1-11 ( 9 ) No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.
Until we are perfected in Love which happens before we die, even if we are the lost sheep or Periodical son, the fallen woman, those deep into sin or addiction, the confused or deceived, He will rescue us and conform us into the likeness of Jesus as we aim for the goal like Paul did, we put the sinful flesh to death as we choose to walk in the Fruit of the Spirit by His empowering and when we have the mind of Christ we will not choose to sin , would Jesus ? our actions and words will show we are Born again of God’s seed and that Jesus has set us free from the Slavery of sin, then we shall rest in Christ Jesus … what God has started in us he will finish in us … you see He knows His own and did before we were conceived and then knew us in the flesh when we were .

1John 4:16-17 And we have known and believed the Love that God hath to us. God is Love; and he that dwelleth in Love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our Love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world
