If there was any incident in the bible that baffled me when I first stumbled on it, it has to be when God took Uzzah’s life for his attempt to steady the Ark and prevent it from falling off a cart and landing on the dirt. I struggled to reconcile how a God who is love could do such a thing. This was an issue for a while until I dug deeper over time and came to understand the concept of Holiness.
