Apparently, you can see Lenin’s tomb in Moscow. He is sealed in a crystal case and you can see his trimmed beard and waxen face. What’s more interesting are the words written on his tomb:

“He was the greatest leader of all peoples of all countries of all times. He was the lord of the new humanity. He was the savior of the world.”

Did you notice how all of Lenin’s glory was attributed to the past? No matter how great he was esteemed to be in his lifetime, the truth remains that he is dead. He is a great I was, just like many other great men before and after him.

Mohammed is regarded as the greatest prophet of the god Allah. He is regarded as superior to Jesus, who Islamists regard as one of Allah’s prophets. He too was a great I was. His remains can be found buried in the Al-Masjid al-Nabawi (“Mosque of the Prophet”) in the city of Medina in Saudi Arabia.

Aren’t you glad that Jesus is alive! His remains cannot be found in any tomb because He rose from the dead and is seated at the right hand of God the Father. He is very much alive, listening to all your prayers and recording all your tears. He is a High Priest that never stops praying for you and I. He is forever pleading your case to the Father in Heaven. The grave could not hold Him. Death was no match for Him. Jesus is alive! Your hope in Him is therefore not misplaced. Your faith in Him will transcend this world and secure your future in Him. He is the great I AM.
