When Jesus threw out the money changers at the Temple, He declared that His Father’s House, hich in today’s terms is the Church, should be a House of prayer and not a den of robbers. Unfortunately, although there are many churches today fulfilling the role of being houses of prayer, there are many others that are also a den for robbers. There are all sorts of disheartening stories and controversies emerging from churches around the globe and that should not be the case. This powerful sermon by Jim Cymbala is a classic reminder of how far we have fallen off the mark in some cases. A much needed sermon if you ask me. Enjoy!
