Oh to Know God by Michael Howard (Audio)
I originally put up this post about six months ago but I feel it is time to put it up again because of all the uproar in the nations today. It follows on from my earlier discussion series on whether or not it is right for Christians to protest against governments in authority. When God wanted to save Southern Sudan from their predominantly Islamic northern counterparts, he raised up a missionary in Michael Howard. This sermon is ana exciting peek into the goings on in the spiritual realm and how that warfare resulted in tangible results for God’s people. There was no mention of carnal weapons but spiritual ones that are mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds.
Interestingly, two years after I first heard this sermon, I was stunned as I watched the announcement of Southern Sudan’s liberation from the Islamic North after years of struggling. I smiled to myself as I remembered Michael Howard and his mission from God. This sermon challenges my faith each time I listen to it.

A couple of years ago, I was fortunate to stumble on what I personally believe to be one of the most powerful sermons I’ve ever heard in my short existence as a Christian. In this sermon, Michael Howard, an Intercessor/Missionary called by God to serve the war torn nations of Africa, tells us about what it means to bring down the power of God in these places. He talks about victories, testimonies, near misses and brushes with death. His life is one big adventure with God and I doubt you will listen to this and not want more from your relationship with God. Click on the link above to listen to this amazing sermon. It could literally change your life.
