Watchman, I am so siked about Skatemusic! Thanks for introducing me to it. My 7 yr. old son will go crazy over this. We love dancing in praise and worship to the Lord, and it’s hard to find really grooving music that honors Him. LOVE. IT. Like King David, I will be getting pretty undignified while dancing before the Lord to it tomorrow
Bringing up your son to boogie to songs of praise is simply amazing. I pray he will be a man after God’s own heart like the undignified king that David was. SkateMusic is the brainchild of Dj Skates, a fellow brother in Christ. His work is so cool and yet unashemedly Christ-centred. Keep on rocking wp!
Well, if I don’t introduce my son to godly songs, he will find ones that are not (there are plenty). My little man of God LOVES to sing, dance and get crazy (a lot like him mama used to…and still does but shhh!), so I want to keep a steady supply of good stuff coming that will not only fill his need but also teach him to praise God in and with everything he does. That is something I am learning now, so we are getting to journey together in in
P.S. Have you ever listened to Lecrae? I have just heard a few of his songs, but from what I have heard, he really loves the Lord and is trying to make only music that will glorify God and make a change in the whole hip-hop/rap world. I have a feeling God is going to (and already is) using him mightily!
