I don’t watch Big Brother Anywhere let alone Africa but one of my younger sisters told me about these stories and I decided to find the video clips and put them up for discussion on the blog. Is it just me or has the moral fabric of society disnitegrated to a pretty bad state? Can you not remember when it was almost taboo to discuss anything sexual in public? Whilst I’m an advocate for free speech and all, there is something disturbing about the fact that people can brazenly brag about sexual escapades to what is at least an entire continent of viewers without shame or remorse. It’s almost celebrated! The next generation are watching and deeming these lifestyles as acceptable since we’re celebrating these people rather than correcting them. There seems to be no boundaries to anything these days. It’s like Sodom and Gomorrah all over again and Jesus predicted this thousands of years ago.
Matthew 24:37-39 says 37 “When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day. 38 In those days before the flood, the people were enjoying banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat. 39 People didn’t realize what was going to happen until the flood came and swept them all away. That is the way it will be when the Son of Man comes”.
My take: if you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for everything. Jesus is coming back soon whether or not the world believes it. Just because immorality is increasingly acceptable to society doesn’t make it right. The bible is the final authority we look to and not society trends because this world is passing by but God’s words will last forever. “Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of
man cometh.” Matthew 25:13.

You know the other day i needed to explain the difference between ‘beautiful’ and ‘sexy’ as a lot of young people are clueless in my opinion .As much as westernization is creeping into the African continent, i think a lot are really confused as to what to take, and what to trash.
Thanks omobaba. It’s absolutely terrifying to see and hear what’s going on these days. It is true that what one generation does in moderation, the next does in excess. There needs to be a renewing of minds otherwise the moral fabric of society as we know it will evaporate before our very eyes.
please i need sound bible-based advice and help cos am a young christian(male) and so far my spiritual life has begun to drop and i now face haunting images from my chequered past of indulging in obscene images. seriously it has been very hard for me bcos even just before i wrote this comment i was searching for porn sites but as God will have it the cafe i am using have blocked all of them and if not for that i might be on a fast slide down to backslidding but i really need help.p.s not that i was addicted to these things but a glimpse here and there stuck in my mind and at times if i happen to come across dirty things like that it all begins to come flashing in my mind and not that i do not know the scriptures but its like even just before the whole process is about to start something in me keeps warning me but i dont know.even my finding this site was as a result of searching for dirty sites so i believe God wants to help me through this site, i will leave my email address for reply
